Clearsite Solutions was contracted to deliver internal strip-out works at the MINI site in Hungerford. The project required the complete removal of all lath and plaster from walls and ceilings within a confined work area.

The confined nature of the site meant that careful planning was essential. Our team managed the strip-out systematically, ensuring that all areas were cleared safely and prepared for the next stage of works.
Restricted site access presented a particular challenge for waste management. To overcome this, we installed a chute system through a designated window, enabling stripped materials to be safely and efficiently transported into skips below.
This approach reduced manual handling risks and ensured that waste removal was carried out smoothly, despite the logistical limitations of the site.
Coordination with scaffolders was another key factor in the success of the project. Our team worked closely with them to sequence tasks effectively, ensuring safe and efficient progress throughout.
Maintaining high safety standards was a priority. Every stage of the strip-out was carried out in line with approved risk assessments and method statements, minimising disruption and ensuring a controlled working environment.
The project was completed on programme and to specification, demonstrating Clearsite Solutions’ ability to manage detailed strip-out works within challenging environments.
