Clearsite Solutions was appointed to carry out a full internal strip-out at The Old Rectory, preparing the property for refurbishment. The project involved the complete removal of bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, and finishes, with works carefully sequenced to ensure efficiency and safety.

The scope included the full removal of bathrooms and shower rooms, stripping back to shell. All sanitaryware, fixtures, fittings, tiling, and associated plumbing were dismantled and removed as part of the works.
Kitchens were also dismantled in their entirety, including units, worktops, appliances, and service connections. This left the spaces ready for new installations as part of the refurbishment programme.
Across the building, carpets, underlay, adhesives, ceramic tiling, and bedding compounds were stripped out. Both hard and soft finishes were removed with precision to avoid damage to the underlying structure.
Waste management was carefully planned, with all materials segregated at source. Hard demolition waste was handled with breakers and mechanical aids, while soft strip materials were removed manually to minimise disruption and protect retained structures.
The presence of other trades on site required close coordination. Our team worked with site management to schedule activities, preserve safe access routes, and integrate additional scope that arose during the programme.
The strip-out was completed on time, to specification, and without disruption to other works. The Old Rectory was handed over fully cleared, structurally intact, and ready for the next stage of refurbishment.
